how is/was prague? we've wanted to go there for years...
the stuff that happens around here. somebody attacked the main electricity office over the weekend with a group of people with machine guns. you know, because some rich family needs to send a message...
this is exactly why i don't start a business here - seriously.
prague was lovely, from what we saw of it. we spent a lot of saturday in the north of country though hehe
i'd really like to go back on a motorcycle tour up there! roads and scenery were pretty great. and then down to prague for a bit of city life towards the end of the break...
Wanted to fire them soooooo badly, but employee instead vaguely turned it into it being my fault, because i didn't send them a text message like i occasionally have done?
Yeah, I’d read that, but thought you’d still got rid of them. I can’t imagine an adult would really require you to text them a reminder of what they had arranged
everyday electricity is out by 4pm. gun attack at the electricity office. two days straight electricity all night.
maybe this is a life lesson for me about how to solve problems?
grey skies, coffee, the sound of my dishwasher, screaming people from next door for two hours now, the handyman not showing up for some works on our house for the billionth time...livin' the life.
around here, there are these people who promote this image that they are rich and blah blah. sometimes when i see them at the grocery store, you know, buying their own groceries, i will say to them "oh wow, you buy your own groceries too". i've had some very confused annoyed looks.
anyways, today should be a good day for a change! i hope yours is well.
So, you going to be taking part in the dad's races then?
The queen of Spain hey, posh. Some of my sister's colleagues were at the royal wedings, it turns out. She works for a load of posh knobs in the city (which always bemuses me, as she's mildly socialist!)...
wow to the royal wedding. how many people were invited - like 3k or something?
there were around 100 people and the queen greeted every single one of them. at a certain point a person came up to their table and told them they queen wanted to speak with them. everybody (friends and colleagues) pointed to my wife when the queen arrived and told her what she was working on - and then they had a 10 minute chat about urban planning. she had a really fun time.

That sounds good, for the misses.
There were two guest lists - yes, they put about 2.5k in the grounds, to wave. But these people (sister's colleagues), were in the church from what I've understood (some of them own big country houses! How the other half...).
i was at the famous HUB ballroom show where nirvana was banned for life from the university. i had no idea what was even going on, and i went to the back of the room to sit against a window and watch the show. the floor is a true old school ballroom - people were moshing and you could actually see it waving like the ocean. the lights on the stage were bouncing back and forth. probably the wildest show i've ever seen (aside from a bar fight).
