    he has new shoes!

    £26, jesus christ.
  • edited 6:35AM
yikes. good morning for the shoe salesperson too then
  • edited 6:35AM
    :)

chris, i have a whole attitude (let me know if you want the full rant) about kids not needing new clothes. they grow so fast that second-hand or "pass-ons" are perfectly good. but i am always glad when parents don't skimp on good shoes. those little bones are still soft and if shoes must be worn, then they must be good shoes. it's worth it. :)

it was sunny all day yesterday, and now there's sun with rain/snow-bows dancing in the air. spring is hinting.

    no bastards here.

well yeah - they cost £26 and he'll need to go back to be measured again in 4-6 weeks. 4-6 weeks. 4-6 weeks.

i've knocked a big stake in the garden and he's currently tied to that doing laps - gotta get £26 worth out of them ;)

I'm in Mardi Gras mode for the next 5 days..Off to see Willie the Weasal for various mood enhancers.. After that I could give a flying fuck about the weather..Although its going to be 75-79f throughout..puts on shorts and flip flops..
  • edited 6:35AM
funny thing is, the girl said that it was very likely that he wouldn't want to walk in them very much to start with, and that he'd find it really awkward, lifting his feet up really high with each step. after i ran across the store to catch him, she repeated that for me, i lol'd.
  • edited 6:35AM
    geez, chris

that is a lot. good doesn't have to mean stylish. not at his age. take away his subscription to GQ now.

    :D

Mardis Gras always smelled like sweat and wet concrete anyway, blueshead, the weather just keeps all that funk down loooow.
