    the sea lions woke me up this morning. herring run is happening about 200 meters from my bed (in ocean, thankyouverymuch), and the lions have congregated to plunder the bounty.. and set up territory for breeding LOUDLY. raaaaaaawerhonkrowr

    nice in the daytime to watch the eagles dive-bombing them :) skeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! rawrorooooooorrrrrrrhonkrrrrowr! *cue background raucous gulls*

    no night-time ocean plunges for now.. they'd think i was a big herring and eat me up.
