    i have been waffling on this one.

    the music is a bit raw

    i'm biased on this one because she's an old music pal that moved on... BUT

    Kirsty is well worth listening to. she makes her own costumes and vid sets, customizes instruments to get the sound she wants, and is a talented, confident performer. she also heads up a music collective (UK-based).

    when it comes to BrixtonBoogie, it all depends on who's singing (imo). with 10 people in the collective, there's plenty of talent to choose from.

    great urban blues combined with the b/w filming..... good stuff.

    1986? ;) ambitious as hell. i'd not seen any of the vid stuff from that "song", only pics and a couple of animated gifs. he was a pretty good choreographer.




    trippy, and not as melancholic as Blockhead's usual fare. ;) more paranoid than emo.

    the new album is pretty weak compared to her previous, but the vid deserves an award, if for no other reason than the amateur vid-feeling with anigif-y glitter unicorns and roses. :)

    have you ever wondered if your parents were ever into Elvis? maybe some of you know; i don't know.

    surely people who were teens in the late 60's had to be influenced.

    this is 1969 Elvis covering a Percy Mayfield song, and covering it raunchy.

    vid's interesting to see: a montage that adds to the flavour.
