Music title: MARIO BASANOV & VIDIS feat JAZZU - I'll be gone Director: Rimantas Lukavicius CGI: Rimantas Lukavicius Producers: Martynas Mickenas, Arunas Matacius Production Company: RGB Inspired by SOBIESKI Year of completion: 2008
michael's vid...i had to not watch (no shortage of bloody heads and dead people in my life).
chris's.. i had to turn the sound off.
i want to combine the 2 now, the slurry monotone singing and the owie skaters.
..........
i'm biased on this one because she's an old music pal that moved on... BUT
Kirsty is well worth listening to. she makes her own costumes and vid sets, customizes instruments to get the sound she wants, and is a talented, confident performer. she also heads up a music collective (UK-based).
1986? ambitious as hell. i'd not seen any of the vid stuff from that "song", only pics and a couple of animated gifs. he was a pretty good choreographer.
trippy, and not as melancholic as Blockhead's usual fare. more paranoid than emo.
...not usually a fan of C Bros, but this editing job is superlative.
"Get Yourself High is a 2003 single by The Chemical Brothers. It features Canadian rapper k-os and appeared as a bonus track on their collection Singles 93-03. A music video directed by Joseph Kahn, featuring a digitally enhanced version of an old martial arts film called '2 Champions of Shaolin' accompanied this song."
the new album is pretty weak compared to her previous, but the vid deserves an award, if for no other reason than the amateur vid-feeling with anigif-y glitter unicorns and roses.

grritty but with a sense of humour and I truly love the lyrics to the song:
the music is a bit raw
no big breakthroughs in vid direction
but...it's energetic, balanced, and colourful. i like colourful.
in HD on da tubes, innit.
........
voodoo soul. love the swoopy beat.
i don't know what there's more of.... lyrical hooks or blood.

Pomplamoose pwns just about any cover they do. wonderful stuff.
great urban blues combined with the b/w filming..... good stuff.
the nipples are so awesome that it's worth it.
this vid made me so happy......
trippy, and not as melancholic as Blockhead's usual fare. more paranoid than emo.

ok..
this ... not because it's Bollywood, but because it is totally absolutely awesome.
i love her newest vid.. that retro flavour enhances the jazziness.
Skank is Brazilian, and they got it goin' on.
raw and clean and strong and beautiful. *listening for the second time*

reggae flavour from France
i like the spinny eyes and the unicorn porn.
i like the sweat stains and the edgy editing.
i like his flow and that he loses (talk about keeping it real!) .
this is from the same man who wrote 88 Lines About 44 Women
i like the film clips from Italian Mondo movies.
i like his rough voice.
i like the deliberately cheesy vid. bad attitude, i'd guess.
(ex-members of The Virgins & Young Lords. )
surely people who were teens in the late 60's had to be influenced.
this is 1969 Elvis covering a Percy Mayfield song, and covering it raunchy.
vid's interesting to see: a montage that adds to the flavour.
