some ideas for a "web edition":
Why does it have to move?
    No text as image
    No Flash here
    blink is illegal
    Marquee is illegal
    justified text sucks
    No background behind text
    Nobody needs a splash page
    Ask Michele (smile)
    Text is unreadable
    feel free to add

~prints off many many sheets and proceeds to slap stickers on 2 brochures from an L.A. agency that shouldn't have seen the light of day. I shudder to think when i know what they charged too.

    So I have to add:

    UNNECESSARY DIE CUT

    Your Grammar Sucks

    or

    Make the Logo Smaller

    or

Stop Being Afraid of Blank Space [alternative; Give Eyes a Rest or Do You Know What Focal Point Means?]

Michele was baseboards very own design guru.

she had an answer to every possible designquestion (big smile).

Unfortunately she left us during an inspiring and somewhat heated discussion (stops smiling)

    Oh I see. Internets dramah

Inspiring? Haha, there was nothing inspiring about that thread.

(Well, other than the fact that I can take microsoft word and make webpages and get paid for it even with my eighties design skills, if Michelle is any indication)

Remember, if it's not sparkly and moving, it's crap!

oh my.... i think i'm beginning to remember that... thought i had successfully buried it...ooOo0oo000Oo

nicko, i think it went like this -

blueshead posted http://www.michellesdesigns.com/ and started taking the piss.

everyone clicked the link, and took the piss.

she checked her referral logs and signed up to defend herself.

    everyone took the piss.

everyone got referral banned / ip banned.

she didn't "do" smilies, she used to make her own, like this (smile)

(looks like her site has gone through a few revisions since last time. no, really, it's much better now)

man her site is so boring now - seriously it was the most glitzy colorful thing before - i should have saved a screen capture of it. I'm kinda sad now.

i liked the example site that had the instruction -
if viewing this on a mac refresh the browser window twice to view the image
sounds like some cut&paste scripting right there without a clue for why it breaks on a mac

    back to the design police...

i just spotted a ream of these printed off on the colour printer downstairs used by our graphics dept.
