...and of course, now, Apple have announced their new games platform, which from what I understand users can use offline too and won't have their data farmed?
yeah, i'd be surprised if all the companies with huge datacentres and stuff didn't launch something like this. that google thing looks like it might be something to bolster the youtube platform, keep everyone within the google ecosphere (for example, twitch had roughly a billion hours of viewing during january this year).
