are these final now? actual bona fide commercial purchased versions, rather than a pre-release, or something?

pre-release but they might as well be final versions. We get them as part of the Adobe Solutions Network so we can be ready when customers start sending files.

intersting thing, is when it got the point of asking for a serial number, there was an option for a 30 day trial.
  • edited 10:38AM
cool, that means you can send them to me, and then i'll click 30-day trial ;)

in IDCS3 there (again) is no direct "save as CS2" format, the export to InDesign Interchange is there and a simple test worked fine.

but my biggest beef... STILL no conversion of Quark 5 or 6 files. grrrrr!

Is it just me or does Dreamweaver look like it hasn't had the same interface update that Flash got. That's disapointing...

I'm waiting another 30 days to let the air clear on CS3, and not fuck with my systems till I'm sure it's a final release.

I dont want to install anything new until Leopard comes out~i always do clean install, its a pain in the ass as it is, no point in installing everything twice.
  • edited 10:38AM
Umm...just installed CS3.... Bloat? Acrobat 8 professional - 833mb!! thats twice the size of flash and photoshop... illustrator weighs in at 745mb...

noen of the images load right eh? FF should be able to handle them, but no, it wants to save them, result: zerosized image.
  • edited 10:38AM
shoot me a whisper if you are still looking . .
  • edited 10:38AM
err, that's my fault as i seem to have not uploaded the attachments directory yet ;)

Everything works here, except Bridge is whacked out. It "loads" but I cannot click on anything. Thus its a crash.

Photoshop is slow on my machine (1ghz w/1.5ram) I would need to upgrade for it to catch up to my speed. Otherwise I havent really digged too deep, yet.

No more CS2. No more Rosetta. PS is fast. I'm happy.
  • edited 10:38AM
Aye, Ps CS3 loads alot faster than CS2, even with the multitude of plugins I'm tinkering with...
