calling indesign experts - autoflow problems
in case you hve followed the XML queries, I now have a text frame that into which multiple copies of a subframe that includes various repeating XML data.
all good
when the incoming data is imported it does evertythign i expect but then it falls down on an indesign function not performing as i would expect
all the sub frames fill the parent frame such that it has an overflow (replete with red overflow icon bottom right) the manual says that shift clicking this icon should create pages as necessary. but when i do this it just creates additional frames (albeit flowed from the previous) but not additional pages as desired.
is there something i need to be doing other than shift clicking the autoflow icon?
is it because i am using subframes and not text?
does the parent frame need to be a master page item?
