Did my yearly xmas card.As annoying as usual. They wanted me to copy this:
Which was a card they got from another army unit last year... pretty f*&^ing tacky if you ask me. Pretty much happens every year. 'can you copy this we really liked it'
So I refused and did a few compositions, this is the one I liked the best for the cover.
and they went with this one after waaaaay to many changes, mostly on the text.... which was considered 'GAY' several times. Of course its gay... its Christmas. its supposed to be happy/sappy.
ugh! i hate this time of year. we always have to develop some kind of holiday email but can't be biased towards any religion, culture, faith whatever. i wish i could just create an email that is black and white and says:
i was nearly allowed to do something pretty cool, involving loads of paper, folding it, and a photograph of the final result. however, we didn't go with that due to the amount of time it may have taken. luckily, after 14 or 15 revisions of the 6 words of (supplied) text on the ecard we went with instead, the final was settled on in record time! result.

suggestions for song?
i'm picturing a 'wayne's world bohemian rhapsody'-scene parody here, but struggling on the music front...
i realise that this has never been done before, and is likely to be totally unique, but part of me just can't help but think urgh.
