The latest SE motorcycle is the Harrier, a radical BMW-powered machine that Egeland is promoting as the first in a new line of ‘modern customs’. The Harrier reminds us a little of Bimota’s Tesi series, and took second prize last month at the 2009 European Championship Of Custom Bike Building—as much for its advanced engineering as its looks. Apart from the obvious steering hub, the front brakes are six-piston monoblocs and the bike is also packing switchable ABS.
yeah, i saw that and immediately thought [rr], but i didn't bother searching or owt. it's definitely quite well done, with some nice details (even if it's not to my, admittedly crass, taste )
That looks like there were two teams involved in the design of it...one for the front, one for the back. They didn't talk to each other during the design.
How about you replace every panel on that passat with carbon fibre ones, lower the weight, and increase the economy? Will adding carbon fibre reduce your overall carbon tyreprints?
Called the Mavizen TTx02, the bike is based on the Agni X01 machine that won the inaugural TTxGP at the Isle of Man TT races in June 2009 and is aimed at privateer racers wishing to take part in the 2010 TTxGP series. £25k.
