    one would hope. :)

people have their panties in a bunch over this one, because it was released as an amateur effort, when it was in fact a professionally produced ad for Guitar Hero (Simon). i get the "outrage"; most folks hate to be duped.

that said, it's still really well done.

I think that's the point. Even though the toothpaste is black, it's good, just like the man.
  • edited 4:49PM
yeah, that was my take on it (don't make judgements based on colour), but .... also what Biff said.
  • edited 4:49PM
Ah, that makes sense. Still don't know what to say, but at least I understand it now. Thanks, guys. ;)

I knew it was a car commercial! Crappy remake of an overused and cliched song, incredibly pointless special effects, and no shot of the car until the very end - yep, that's a car commercial.
  • edited 4:49PM
    ha!

i am disgustingly naive about that kind of thing; it's all new and shiny to me. :D i just liked the fishydawg.
  • edited 4:49PM
    I liked the fishydawg, too!

However, now that I've figured out their formula, the car companies must now ph34r me! :D

This clever little piece of print advertising that's running in maternity magazines is a double-page spread showing a breastfeeding woman with her baby. The pages are glued together, but when you tear them apart, the baby's mouth tears at the nipple. The point is to illustrate that breastfeeding can be incredibly painful, unless you use the lotion that's being advertised.

those Photoshop-made ads are interesting. you can sure see what's "popular" as far as style goes. they don't all look alike, but at the same time, they kinda do. :)

    .........

this one.... *sigh* someone please tell Microsoft that "This sucks on purpose" just isn't a valid excuse.

"Everyone in the company came into work to find their computers vandalized with crayon scribbles. To promote "Bring your kids to work day," childlike art was hand-drawn on acetate sheets, which were trimmed to fit the screens. Building security secretly unlocked over 500 offices the night before so the acetate sheets could be affixed to everyone's computer monitor."

WHY in god's name these are gifs? WHY would one really want to use gif, if it's not to show animated bouncy boobs?
  • edited 4:49PM
    ;) geek.

i should go back to that web page and leave a message, asking just that. perhaps they plan to put animated boobs on things later?
