hi jesse! i saw you were in blighty again recently, too
Feels like yesterday and a lifetime ago, all at the same time. lol
I was one of the first who registered for BB. Watching it grow. It's crazy how big it got. Looking back now, there was a few other boards trying to fill the void. Other sites with more links. But as a community did what napster couldnt do. We had a life after the links. A lot of it was based around the colourful community that formed the core. Now we turn on twitter and theres crazy all over the place. Back then, BB was one of the places you didnt know what you were going to get.
Axl and Slash made up and theres a GnR reunion. Who knows.. maybe we'll have a second life for BB. Ive talked to socko about ideas for growing the community years ago. its just crazy it doesnt even have a wiki page. it was the largest mac underground community on the web.
I know I was seeing a rather lovely illustrator around that time, had a PM8100, followed in quick succession by a second hand PM 8600 then G4 Cube!
Okay, that's sad, stop talking about your old computers David! Now I'm talking to myself!
...I came for banter and inspiration, not dodgy software...
I got my fill of all that through the college I was teaching at part-time!
My indigo imac that i got 20 years ago still works. funny... my phone is now like 10x more powerful then it now. time flies.
