Yes, I'm actually with you in that, I hesitated before posting. My first reaction was 'gimmick' but then I questioned if I was just being too dismissive… still not sure. I want to ask – why, why do that?

sure has! i think something has clicked in the public psyche though, and now what is acceptable has shifted somewhat. it used to be 'fashion photographer being a little bit forward? no waii!?! lol'. it's good that people have realised they can change what is generally acceptable, and become a little less passive.
Yes, it's a difficult call, is it a great photo or is itthe content the unbelievable we're seeing... But it's a hell of testament to the situations these (often barking) 'conflict' photographers put themselves into!
