Good stuff, love that song! I swear if i thought my legs could handle the landing i would love to do something like that but there is no way!(on a side note my girlfriend broke her ankle doing a tandem(sp?) parachute jump from a plane om her birthday)
So, I spent some time watching Jeb Corliss vids on youtube at the weekend.
The guy says he's always been a bit fucked up by depression and does skydiving / basejumping just to feel something. He goes on to say that it doesn't matter that he might die because that's kind of what he wants anyway.
He's currently working on a way of doing the first parachuteless skydive.
An American professional wingsuit flyer has successfully performed a jump and dive through China's Tianmen Hole - an actual hole through a mountain in Hunan province.
Jeb Corliss jumped nearly 2,000m (6,560ft) above the mountain before flying straight through it.
It was his second attempt as on his first the smoke brackets on his feet did not work properly.
^ when i initially went through and edited all the old-style video links, it only did the comment bodys, and not the first posts. so, i just went and changed the discussion bodys.
aha! that makes a lot of sense. maybe they could edit the two together - helmet cam footage to start with, then the external footage of the backflipz0r!
