The 2020 Core77 Design Awards Design Education Initiative Honorees
The 2020 Core77 Design Awards Design Education Initiative category honor professional projects that utilize the ideals of design thinking in the course of developing an educational initiative. Programs can be part of a formal educational institution, or come from corporate, non-profit or other stand alone organizations. Examples include, but are not limited to, workshops, class projects, institutional programs, print and/or digital campaigns, education-driven exhibitions, online learning initiatives, toolkits, strategy documents, etc.
This year's Design Education Initiative team was led by Allan Chochinov, Partner at Core77 & Chair of SVA's MFA Products of Design program. Joining him on the panel were Timothy Bardlavens, Product Design Manager, Facebook and Liz Ogbu, Founder & Principal of Studio O, and Jennifer Rittner, Principal at Content Matters.
