Does anyone use this? After 10 years of Itunes..I'm loving this.. I can
finally play FLAC,etc, etc, Add an EQ, and use AU plug ins. And it uses
Core Audio.

What a huge difference from iTunes..

I'm an old man on #SS.. Maybe your tax money paid for it... :D
  • LOL! i'm sure i could find a fully functional "trial" version of it to use but i'm too lazy. old age. :D
  • How old do you have to be to use Audirvana?

    ;)
  • A better question is are you using the Mac Pro's on-board DAC to play that back, because if you are, there's no point in using FLAC or anything lossless.
  • Biff'd :D

I'm using this app to play FLAC because iTunes does not. You have me confused now.. Is it better that I play an MP3 at 320kbps (My preferred MP3 format) in iTunes ..vs a FLAC file of much better quality in this app?

Also I have the option of selecting DAC or Built in Software..And selecting Apple Core Audio or iZotope 64 Bit SRC

I'm using DAC and iZotope 64 Bit SRC to play my FLAC's and it sounds great.. Your suggestions on this?

The one thing I will say..This app makes my music shine and play much better then iTunes.. :)
