No matter how utterly innovative, how pristine and beautiful a design idea is, rarely does it speak for itself when you are still in the middle of the creative process.

If you are a designer or PM or architect or writer or anyone who spends most of their time living in a creative whirlwind, talking about design is an essential skill. Do it well, and you might be Don Draper, with the power to leave the room breathless, unified behind a vision that stirs an emotion deep inside your gut...
Julie Zhuo talks about how to present designs, and i think you should read it.

  • I haven't read the article yet but I always do this:

Tell them what you're going to show them. Show them. Then tell them what you've shown them.
  • ^nice read and me like what Nicko said
  • that's pretty much what the article is about, yes nicko :D
  • oh, I won't bother reading it then :D
  • Too many words and stuff! Nothing should be a philosophy, people should just do what feels right, and not write about what made them feel right at the time...we are all special on this crazy blue planet!
  • Wanting to be 'like' someone else is all fine and dandy when you are a child but if you are an adult and have nothing better to offer than a bad imitation of someone on a tv show then you suck at life, !
