    the Olympics .... is a sore subject around here. there's a party in Vancouver and other venues, but the rest of the province is resentful and angry that money needed for basic services has gone so underpaid athletes can generate massive ad revenues for TV networks and expose millions of couch potatoes to the nutritional wonders of Coca-Cola and McDonald's.

    we're going to find that the cost was closer to 6 billion dollars than the 3B stated, and there are still schools and hospitals closing.

    i'm stifling a rant atm. say thank you.

    as it is.....i'm avoiding all the coverage; it's easy.... just keep the radio off.

    i watched some skier cross yesternight - holy fuck, looks awesome :D
