Snow Leopard Dock

edited September 2009 in advice
Has anyone successfully removed the dumb glossy shelf from the dock?

The terminal command:
defaults write com.apple.dock no-glass -boolean YES killall Dock
Used to work, but no more :|

I use Candybar, but look through http://www.leoparddocks.com or http://www.dockulicious.com/ for the the pngs etc. I then drop the relevant ones in on Candybar. Previously i used Dockulicious app.

How strange, I tried the terminal command again and it worked...

Now, about that opaque menu bar?
