maping folder hierarchy

edited September 2009 in advice
So... here is another one for you guys.
I've seen or heard of some kind of application that will take a folder or harddrive and map out the hierarchy in an image format, or a document.... or something really, anything. I'd really rather not have to do this manually. but my searches suck. and really I'm not even sure what to call something like that. I need it to put in a progress report to show that files are being generated by my video archiving ways.

    "tree map", maybe?

drag and drop the folder you wish to map into textmate, or bbedit, and it will give you an indented list of all the files and folders it contains.
