shorpy - high resolution historical photographs

Shorpy.com is the 100-year-old photography blog that brings our ancestors back, at least to the desktop. The site is named after Shorpy Higginbotham, a boy who worked in an Alabama coal mine near the turn of the century.

    nice find, chris.

    squapple, i think what i linked to was hi-rez pix of some historical photos. i love this kind of thing. slices of the past help me understand a bit better.

    that was the first thing i did. kids today have no stamina or work ethic. *nod*
