Yes, it does look familiar in some way but can't place a deftones cover, something else... though I'm thinking when I saw something similar it was salt, not dope, of course!
Graphic designer Neville Brody has worked with in-house team 4Creative, director Jonathan Glazer and agency DBLG to create a new visual identity for UK broadcaster Channel 4 (+ movie).
The new branding retains the TV channel's "puzzle logo" – nine multi-coloured pieces originally designed by Lambie Nairn in 1982 – but breaks it down into its constituent blocks.
British designer Brody, of Brody Associates, has created two new custom typefaces for the identity: Horseferry and Chadwick. The designs come in three and five weights respectively, with Horseferry intended for display purposes, and Chadwick for information.
The recent ability to place multicolored vector elements into a single glyph, via recent SVG in Opentype3 technology, was mainly been driven by the need to support multicolored emoji in typefaces. However, the opportunities it presents for type designers has lead many to consider both how chromatic type will evolve and the role of color in its communication.
