Never miss a hot track again. Peel is an MP3 blog reader and player rolled into one. Subscribe and stream music the minute it becomes available!

So, what are MP3 blogs?

They are also known as musicblogs or audioblogs and have become increasingly popular since the beginning of 2003. According to Wikipedia an MP3 blog is a type of weblog in which the creator makes music files, normally in the MP3 format, available for download.

so, interesting looking thing, not sure if itunes has any similar functionality out of the box, but this looks like it integrates well. $14.95 for a public beta sounds reasonable too. oh, wait... hehe

Thanks for this post. Actually it's free because it's still a beta. So go ahead and try it out and digg it if you like it.

i just sent an email with some suggestions...

#1. There are a couple of blogs which I have come across which Peel fails to find mp3s on, even though I know they are there, and easily viewable as plain links to mp3 files on the web pages. Two of these sites are http://this.bigstereo.net/ (Peel finds and lists 1 mp3, though there are many listed on that page), and http://www.yolala.org/ (Peel lists 0 mp3s, yet there are currently 23 mp3s listed on the front page). Help with this matter would be great!

#2. Although I understand that Peel is not a browser, it would be highly beneficial to have a 'back' button when viewing the website in the inline browser window.

#3. Would it be possible to have Peel be able to minimise to a compact player [ala iTunes] - that would, again, be pretty awesome :)
